Origin

The name.

Two words: code and bourne, an old English word for a stream or small river. You'll find it in place names across Britain: Eastbourne, Sittingbourne, Pangbourne.

We chose it because good software should feel like flowing water. Continuous. Adaptive. Finding the path of least resistance, the way a stream does.

It's also a reminder of how we like to work: steadily, without drama, always moving forward.

Principles

How we work.

01 · Small on purpose
We're not trying to be a large agency. We take on work we can do well: fewer clients, deeper relationships, better outcomes.
02 · We operate what we build
We don't ship and disappear. Our platforms are live and we're responsible for them. That changes how we build: we write code we have to maintain.
03 · Honest about fit
If we're not the right team for your project, we'll tell you. We'd rather lose a project than take on work we can't do justice to.
04 · Engineering over theatre
We're not interested in impressive-sounding technology for its own sake, only whether it solves the problem. The best solution is usually the simplest that works.

Where we are

Pakistan-based,
UK-focused.

Our engineering team is in Pakistan; our clients are UK mobile brands and businesses. That combination is deliberate: deep technical capability, close working hours with the UK, and a cost base that lets us take on ambitious builds for companies that couldn't otherwise afford a dedicated platform team.

We're upfront about it, because good engineering doesn't need a postcode to justify itself.
